I think the forum is messing with me. I kept getting locked out of my account because "my password was wrong." But I just used one of the ones I tried, and it let me in. I feel like I'm in the twilight zone.

Also, ... this qual .... "HIT approval rate (%) is not less than 100"
It's so ... reachable.
I really wish the requester interface better explained those quals, at least letting requesters know that doing something like that is going to seriously limit their pool of responses.

Or maybe they know that and just don't care.

I'm sure it works if they're looking for people who are relatively new, ... but there are much better qual limits to set. Like number of HITs submitted or whatever that one qual is. I've seen that plenty of times. That one is just silly, and doesn't make much sense.

Yes, I agree, especially when you consider what a minefield it can be even getting to 1k approved. So many of the requesters that consistently post work for people at that stage are incredibly unreliable. Add to that, people often don't even figure stuff like TO or forums out right away and they're basically just asking for rejections. There's certainly an element of luck involved when it comes to maintaining that 100% approval rate, at least at the beginning (I'm sure it gets easier as you start acquiring experience and quals and can be more choosy with who you work for.)

100% agreed. I was lucky, and found this forum and I think MTG when I first started out and it was so helpful to be able to have some guidance when I first started. I remember treating it like a research project. I still got rejections occasionally, but I currently sit at 26 rejections out of almost 24k HITs, so I think my stats are pretty decent XD
But on the flip side of that, it's still pretty difficult even with guidance because you have to have the patience to basically grind through your first ... 5k? HITs, as that's usually when most of the HITs become way more open to you. Well ... unless you're lucky and get Masters .... /masters salt x1000000 >_>
