For the record, I had garlic butter in mind when I made the poll. I didn't know if there were other variations or anything that people liked, though, so I just put butter. Like how there are several variations of ranch dipping sauces that people put on pizza, so I just put ranch. Hot sauce isn't on there because it just didn't occur to me. I don't dip pizza in any of that stuff, so I think you're all weird anyway.

I still make butter and sugar rice with leftovers. My kids love it.
oh wow, I haven't had sugar rice in forever.

When I was a kid I would make butter and sugar sandwiches. Spread butter on white Wonder Bread, sprinkle sugar on it, then eat.

Makes me want to gaaaaagggggg now thinking of it but da-ham I loved that as a kid. Oh, the 70s, when sugar, carbs and fats were kings!!!
I try not to think of the things kid me ate. Vienna sausage sandwiches with miracle whip was a favorite of mine. blech.

I'm just a dummy for not thinking of garlic butter till I said butter was gross. I'm sure everyone else was smart enough to figure out you meant garlic butter XD

I used to scoop out crisco and dip that in sugar and eat that, too.

I am unsure how I haven't died from a heart attack yet.

When I was like 8 or 9, I really wanted some toast with Nutella one night, but we didn't have any Nutella. I thought I could make an approximation by mixing powdered Nesquik and water into a paste and spreading it on toast. I'm pretty sure I actually ate it, too.

Sugar rice? I can't even be bothered to Google that...
then again, I prefer rice with hot sauce on it as well lol
my mom and aunt and gramma all used to give it to us as a quick breakfast. Like cereal I guess, but cheaper.

edit: I dont' know why they did it and my mom doesn't either. I wasn't old enough to really question it when they were around.
