Good morning fellow humans. It's hot here too. Even my dog, who loves playing outside and usually doesn't mind heat, can't take it. We went out for a walk and she was immediately like fuck this, lemme back in the house.

yes. The dew point is the temperature where water would condense into rain given the current atmospheric pressure. So the closer the dew point is to the actual temperature the more moisture is condensing out of the atmosphere. More water in the air = less ability to have sweat evaporate off our bodies and cool us down.ugh, gross, It's 82 right now but dew point is 77 (which I think means how humid it is, right?)
Not trying to 'man-splain' this but very, very few people understand what dew point actually is. It's a bitch to calculate.
northern Michigan will be cooler by this weekend...but it is half way to the north pole.

no lol thank you, I didn't know that's what it was. so it can only go up to what the actual temperature is? so like, it's 85 here. so the dew point can't be more than 85?
If the dew point approaches 85 when the temp is 85 water condenses into clouds and it rains. So the dew point will be the current temperature whenever it rains or, in other words, 100% humidity.
How does a turker use TurkPrime? Isn't it a researcher tool for requesters?

I live in the mountains and when it’s getting hot here, I know that down the mountain it’s easily 10-25 degrees hotter. No thank you. No thank you. No thank you.
When it’s 90 here, it’s like104/105 30 minutes away where matt works (in the desert). I’m gonna stay on my mountain thank you very much!
