even so, there will still be tasks where the requester doesn't understand [or care] much about the platform and what the general populace sees as fair.
You could still earn an undeserved rejection, where they don't turn it over
or, the requester can lie to you and say that they'll reverse it, but they never get around to it.
I've got a list of a few that have given me those empty promises.
I put that list into my block list.

sometimes rejections are fairly gained.
sometimes people have a bad day, maybe they answer something wrong, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

honestly, the time and effort that can get put into it is frustrating

I'll send a message or two, but I refuse to follow up
as far as I'm concerned, they are displaying a measure of their character

that's why I just block after they demonstrate that

1. they acknowledge their mistake,
2. they say they'll correct it,
3. they do not correct it.,
4. I don't do their tasks ever again, because I expect that they will burn again
