That could be because of piebaldism (I think there is a specific term for when it's only a streak or tuft tho, my med school times are beyond me lol) where your body just kinda doesnt put out enough melanin/hair being produced without any color in it because your body essentially deleted the pigment structure for a patch of your hair. It's pretty common actually! Some people have really shocking huge streaks of white, and some people just get tiny patches somewhere on their body.

amen, I've never gave 2 shits what others think about my appearance. I wear sandals 365 days a year with over the top Hawaiian shirts. I've never dyed my hair (well, once, but it was semi-permanent and you couldn't even tell I dyed it), but I have an undercut which is pretty radical for my small, country-bumpkin town. I just really like being a red head! I went thru my blonde phase and my pastel colors phase (and even a jet black phase where I decided I wanted my already very dark hair to look even darker LMAO) and I just enjoy it. People think I'm naturally red, which is funny, and I feel most like myself with red hair. I don't mind the upkeep cause I just enjoy it, but that's just me.

Matt's dad is 78 and still has perfectly curly, blonde hair. I imagine Matt will probably look the same. It's honestly impressive to me, coming from a family of men who bald early on.
