Yes, well if it had gone through I could check my hits. It went through only to the Requester, mTurk didn't register it, so I have no record on my end - no name!

No, it didn't expire, when I clicked 'submit' to mTurk it didn't go through - I got the screen where you have to sign back into your account. It's happened before - sometimes a message will pop up saying 'something went wrong, try again', this time it didn't - mturk support can't help with this - once before when it happened I was able to find the Hit still active and get the name that way, this time, no luck with that.

Yes, I have seen this before. To remove, take a screwdriver and stab the numbers anywhere on your monitor and they will be gone..

You need to log out and log back in again when you start working for the day.
Mturk has an automatic log out every 12 hours.
If you do that then you'll never have to worry about this again.
