quick question that has nothing to do with me: what do yall eat when youre broke af?
mayo mustard sandwiches, these are called wish sandwiches because you wish you had some meat to put on them, ramen, soups, try to find a local outlet that sells dented cans cheap you can get stuff for 25 cents or so,

buy a pack of chips or crackers from a vending machine, accidentally rock it back n forth a few times and good things fall out, try local churches that have loaves n fishes programs, don't be proud or shy ask a friend, neighbour, lover for food, learn to play an instrument and go downtown or similar and play for money <<< i have done this and made more in a day that i do on turk most times

for extreme hunger put on a ski mask and a t-shirt that says "I'm with stupid" with the arrow pointing at you and rob a convenience store with a banana, also wear the ski mask backward so that when they pick you up you can plead temp insanity

Bulk items as the base (including flour to make my own bread and pasta) and larger amount of money spent on spices and fats to keep it interesting.

I just love requesters who have this wonderful fantasy of how long their hit should take and reject your work if you don't take longer than that to complete it. I especially love when you don't even miss any attention checks and reach out to them in an attempt to be reasonable and they just tell you again you "went too fast".

Well, I wouldn't know anything about any of that.

I don't think that's true, I've never heard of any other forums.
not a forum like this in this format but more of a chat that is turkers and they post work but it's more about other things, also there was a short-lived Turkers World forum and then that went to another type turk/chat

I don't know how you guys are doing earnings wise, but I just found 2 packets of seasoning in my ramen so you could say I'm living pretty comfortably right now

Potatoes? I remember listening to a Joe Rogan podcast where Kevin Smith (Silent Bob) lost a shitload of weight eating nothing but potatoes and still got all the nutrition he needed.
Hmm could be true lol my body does well with potatoes when I’m dieting. I limit the intake though. But yes potatoes are great on a budget!

I haven’t run into this as being rejected for “going too fast.” But I have run out of time for something that gave you 5 min and it was like write 500 words for $3. Like no, this is not happening

Absolutely clueless requesters are what keep me going on MTurk.

Way, way too many carbs.

And whatever I can steal from my neighbors's trees and bushes that grow food. California is pretty awesome with providing food that just randomly sprouts up in places.

(side note: when I was broke af and eating too many carbs I was also skinny af. Now I eat a balanced diet and am fat af. I think a high carb diet is better for my weight, lol!)
