I'm happy as long as I can do the things I enjoy..namely railroad photography, hockey games, motorsports.

Mine is starting to need some major work. It started overheating and I've already replaced a few related cheap things. The water pump and timing belt arrived in the mail this week, so that better take care of things.

i had a weird problem with mine a couple months ago. it stopped reading my key when i tried to start it up. at the time i had no idea what was wrong with it. thought the engine was dead or something. had to get a new key made.

That is really weird. I'm surprised that hasn't happened to me because the this-shouldn't-be-happening-wtf things tend to find me. haha My step-father-in-law was a master mechanic for Mercedes for 30 years, so I'm hoping he's up for this project.

ETA: I'm really interested in seeing what the current timing belt looks like. Probably partially mangled. I wanna know.

oh God this brought up a cringy memory. I was in elementary school and the teacher was doing attendance and the person called before me said 'present' so I thought we were saying random words so I said the first word that popped into my head, 'lizard', and everyone just stared at me.
