Having been within six months that it's happened before, there's a small chance that they will. If you've had the account for a long time, you would fare better, but within six months, they'll more than likely see it as a pattern. (I'm sorry for being the bearer of bad news.)

Ehh, don't worry. Longitudinal studies come up all the time. Just have to keep an eye out for the "qual" HITs which usually don't pay much but, get you included in the study. I'm doing 3 or 4 long-term studies, atm.

I didn't want to like this, honestly. If they have an option to turn your account into one that won't overdraft, they might reverse the overages. I know my daughter has this through our credit union, and it's saved her a lot in fees. Also, I'm a big fan of poverty finance over on reddit, it's far more hardcore than frugal.

Or, you could call and immediately, and politely say, "Yes, I'm calling to close my account." They will immediately transfer you to the "recovery/save team" who's job it is to offer you something to keep you as a customer. At least, that's usually what happens with larger customer service departments. They have a few people who are authorized and empowered to do what a regular rep can't, to try and retain your business. Because, they actually make a good amount on fees. So, they like customers who end up with fees, as long as they pay them and continue their business. It's like the when credit card companies were cancelling people's cards, who always paid on time, or early, because they weren't making much from them because they never accrued fees.
