oh I get it! I've had something similar happen and I was pissed lol. took the rest of the day off mturk I was so mad. but after a few days the req replied and not only paid me for the hit but gave me an extra $3 for my trouble. The main reason you don't want to go straight for their adviser or whatever is because you don't want to chance running a good req off mturk, AND it's good to just keep in mind they're humans, too, ya know?
