Too true. And, if they're not off at lunch, they could be just freaking out because they received 500 messages about their study, which they figured worked, as well. But, due to honest human error, now they've got to figure out what went wrong, figure out how they can fix it, who they have to apologize to for the delay in data, etc. Totally right to wait at least a couple of days for a response. They are definitely just people too.oh I get it! I've had something similar happen and I was pissed lol. took the rest of the day off mturk I was so mad. but after a few days the req replied and not only paid me for the hit but gave me an extra $3 for my trouble. The main reason you don't want to go straight for their adviser or whatever is because you don't want to chance running a good req off mturk, AND it's good to just keep in mind they're humans, too, ya know?
