OT:

Well, after talking to my neighbor for about an hour outside, gonna look into moving to Wyoming instead of Idaho. Would love to move to Colorado. The only reason I can think to move to Kansas is because of Google Fiber, lol. Rent in our 2 bedroom almost 1,200 (has an efficient kitchen & a tiny second bedroom). Feel like I'm just wasting money here.

My brother is a maintenance guy at a resort in Colorado. He gets a free unit to live in so he has no rent payments. Even with that, he says he can't save money fast enough to buy a house because property values are rising faster than he can save money!

Rent in our area is like $600 for a two bedroom for average apartment. But, no one wants to live here, so there's that.

We complain about rent.. but I dont know about other cities. but I was downtown yesterday. It's littered with tent cities. 100s and 100s of homeless just living under the underpass and highways. Life sucks but damn, im ok with high rent if I dont have to live like that.
