Oh my laws, we got one of those the other day. He even said something about how he can't find a job that "pays him enough" it was so bizarre.

Even in a big city it's miserable. NYC public transit is a drag.

It's noisy and all.....but you can get anywhere. Our public transportation up here in VT is.....well. There are a few buses.

I help the people who I can tell actually need help. Like the dude picking trash out of the garbage bin looking for food or the guy whos totally dishevelead and defeated. I will help that man. The dude who hops on the train wearing new nike shoes in good clothes talking about how he needs help, nah man, you got to work like everyone else.

NYC subway is goodish as long as you dont get the " CAN I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION EVERYONE " people on your train car.

But yeah, everything else is another story.

I can relate to living in a big city like NY,as I live in the Boston area, and got to admit I love it. A big urban melting pot with a lot of hustle.

Public transit in Chicago, in my opinion, is generally pretty good. Elsewhere, not so much. I am a central IL person here, close to IN but go to Chicago a lot for work.

Upstate NY/VT/PA all start to look like the same place (driving through it at least!) so still, crazy pretty. I'd do pretty embarrassing things to live up near Corning.

Public transit in Chicago, in my opinion, is generally pretty good.

I was approached by people and offered weed or meth at least 25% of the time as I was waiting for the Green Line at the Forest Park station. Never accepted, but at least I knew where to get myself some delicious meth in case I was ever interested.
