I think the HIT ID will be new too, since I had to re-make the layout on the new accountWe use the requester ID...so I don't know if there's a way you can check if that's the same or not we can also search by hit ID so if it's the same as yesterday that will be easy.
Regarding diplomacy, a friend taught me that starting a suggestion with "I read somewhere..." i.e. "I read somewhere that requesters can end up scaring away their worker base with too many initial rejections." can soften an implied criticism and make the criticized feel less defensive. So, out of curiosity, is there anyone who completed a largenumber of hits for Rose CMU who did not catch a higher rejection rate than average, or had 0 rejections after working dozens of them? I think the majority of us are used to risking rejections somewhat, and we can accept when we do stupid stuff. The problem comes in when a requester is rejecting work and then not leaving any feedback regarding what was wrong with the work, not offering to help resolve it, and then expecting to post thousands of hits more and for people to risk more rejections on them. I am personally not willing to risk my breathing room, or what little is left of it now, to complete her hits.
Would it be innapropriate to send her the link to her TO reviews, explain that she is scaring away her worker base and that by not reaching out and establishing a good turker/requester relationship with communication flowing both ways, her future research will likely come to a halt. Most of us, are not likely to continue doing batches with the foreknowledge that rejections are to be expected. I'm trying to figure out how to diplomatically phrase this while reaching out.

I can't seem to find it! They put it right out there on my worker account, but it must be hidden somewhere...Many of us use the Requester ID (A2NPHK2GTUF78O) which would be different on the new account. But if you could locate that ID and give us a heads up, that might help
As soon as we see it pop on scraper we'll all panda it immediately anyway so I think it's a minor inconvenience at mostI think the HIT ID will be new too, since I had to re-make the layout on the new account
And I can't even find the requester ID on the new account...

Just say "No offense" before whatever you're going to say. Sixty percent of the time, it works every time.Regarding diplomacy, a friend taught me that starting a suggestion with "I read somewhere..." i.e. "I read somewhere that requesters can end up scaring away their worker base with too many initial rejections." can soften an implied criticism and make the criticized feel less defensive.
I don't think it would be at all inappropriate to send an email about this, but I've done similar things, trying to explain obvious facts to people, and have often ended up very frustrated when they can't see my faultless logic!
A few people posted IRB information and emailed her superiors. I'm an uninvolved party but I am curious to know if anything came of that? Sorry you're dealing with rejections I got a blatantly undeserved one this week, too, and I imagine I'll still be sour about it for the next 45 days until it drops off of my Dashboard.Be glad, I don't get rejections, ever, so this is hard for me. But I did take a screenshot of each HIT that I completed before submitting it, I can't see how they are any different from the quals. I have emailed her. I explained that rejections are rare (usually) from batch requesters. And they have a serious enough impact that rejecting a lot of work coupled with a lack of communication to clarify her needs will likely result IMO with her future postings sitting untouched because we just can't risk that rejection rate, which completing her work comes with.
I told her that I would like to bridge the gap between her needs and the performance she is getting, because the worker base can only perform a HIT as well as the information provided. I suggested that I could fix the HITS with clarification on what she is seeking. I also suggested that future qual HITS have a test, and that rejections for qual hits is unheard of. Finally, I added that a qual should give her a worker pool who get say 90% of the work correct, and most requesters would not reject the work after a qual was established, they would monitor performance and reject the qual itself preventing the worker from doing those hits again in the future.
I never spoke in first person, I always included $ and location, important descriptions, but how to phrase these is a little subjective. I don't think she gets it honestly, My advice to workers would be to run. I have never dealt with a more indignant requester who made me feel like I was stupid scum and
Okay! Well that's some comfort. But I hate to lose all the info I have about who's done how many HITs for me in the past, since I don't check results from regulars as carefully, since i trust you all.As soon as we see it pop on scraper we'll all panda it immediately anyway so I think it's a minor inconvenience at most
I don't have a requester account, so I can't be much help. Maybe @Jaded?I think the HIT ID will be new too, since I had to re-make the layout on the new account
And I can't even find the requester ID on the new account...
Why can't the ninjas use the new account? Seems like they should be the new ones so you can keep using all your awesome data on good workers you've developed a relationship with.Okay! Well that's some comfort. But I hate to lose all the info I have about who's done how many HITs for me in the past, since I don't check results from regulars as carefully, since i trust you all.
That's what I was thinking! Why can't the ninjas use the new account? Seems like they should be the new ones so you can keep using all your awesome data on good workers you've developed a relationship with.
Why don't you just go closed qual?Okay! Well that's some comfort. But I hate to lose all the info I have about who's done how many HITs for me in the past, since I don't check results from regulars as carefully, since i trust you all.
I actually have no idea how to find the requester ID, I only know mine cause it's my worker ID.I don't have a requester account, so I can't be much help. Maybe @Jaded?
Well tell whoever decided this that the workers will stage a revolt if they don't let you keep your old account. That's what I was thinking!
Honestly this is the way I've done your HITs for the last 2 years.I don't check results from regulars as carefully, since i trust you all.
Hahaha, truuue that's what everyone wanted yesterdayWhy don't you just go closed qual?
