You guys are talking about food and I'm starving now! But I can't eat for another hour and a half. Since my "lunch hour" is now spent driving to my son's high school to pick him up then driving him home and dropping him off, I get to be all classy-like and eat my food in my car while I'm sitting in the pick up zone waiting for the final bell to ring and for him to get himself to the car.

Five miles one way. And a student was hit in a crosswalk today right next to the school, so I'm not inclined to let him navigate traffic that can't avoid a pedestrian.

and no joke, I was almost hit FOUR times yesterday and I'm in a car. People are shitty drivers in this town during pick up and drop off times. (One guy merged into my lane like I wasn't there and I ninja moved out of his way, and another dude decided to pull a three point turn right in front of me and I missed him by slamming to a stop. A walking mom saw that one and even yelled at the other driver for me, lol.)
