Morning!
It has stormed all night and doesn't look like it's about to let up.

I'm so excited it's Friday! Before I didn't care really because I'm a sahm mom and every day is Friday, but now it means I'll get my kiddo two whole days before school again. So excited. I miss him during the day lol.

Morning. Not having a fantastic day. Had to get up early and currently drinking water (not COFFEE) for a CT scan. Also, discovered that our A/C went out overnight and my husband and I won't be here in most of the day if they can even send a guy out. Added bonus: it's storming something horrible which is not a positive for getting the A/C worked on. Plus, it's raining and I have a bucket down in the back room. That makes me especially unhappy because we contacted a roofer in June, signed a contract, and we have had a difficult time getting a hold of him. So, if we had the new roof we wouldn't have a leak.
Sorry, unusual Friday rant. This should be a Monday thing.

From the survey page, not content inside survey:

Bots have been a real problem on MTurk lately, and data quality is suffering. This

screener is meant to weed out worker accounts which, for whatever reason, produce low-

quality data.

I hope they realize that workers may not be completely to blame for this. We hear everyday of bots getting more sophisticated and getting into places where they shouldn't be. I suspect this may be one of the things they are searching for. But I'd really hate to see workers have to take the blame for all of this and yes, I know many are scamming the system. Just think this may go deeper.

I don't miss my kid at all when he's at school :ROFL: but he only goes for 3 hours

Last night the cat found a mouse. I did the adult thing,
first I yelled, then I grabbed the dog - and closed my bedroom door (for the night).

Now I guess I have to go and find the little remains.......and give it a proper send off. :bear:
