When you fetch a hit in your extension how do you avoid the redirect to http from https ?

Calling this from an HTTPS page in my extension causes a redirect to HTTP from MTURK which causes Chrome to block the request. I cant seem to find a fix?`

Which exact error message are you seeing in Chrome? Any mention of HSTS in the error message?

I was doing the lecture survey and was on the second part. One of the on screen elements didn't show up, so I refreshed as instructed, and it booted me back to the beginning of the survey.

I shot the requester an email, I hope they respond with some good news.

Ohhh..he's the profile guy. It only lets me do 2 of those at a time (maybe per day) for some reason.

Oh, I understand now. Its because I'm in an extension page , so I won't get blocked by the redirect. You're embedding on MTurk so you are bound by tradition webpage rules. You will have to handle the request in the background.

I had been putting off writing background.js. Its going to be a tough file for me to write I dont even have a specific layout in mind yet. I guess now is the time. I'll study your source code tonight and see if I can get something working. Thanks for your help.
