I have a theory that it's not dating profile photos at all, but is to see if people are racist in some way. I always feel weird when marking smart for Asian men. Do they think I do it because they're Asian? Is this an elaborate "let's see if these folks are racist" plot? Am I teaching aliens what kind of men to talk to? Who knows?

YES! That was what tipped me off that it's really aliens. That, or what on earth is wrong with some of these absolutely beautiful humans who are so worried about their photos? (It's aliens.)
