No, neither do our Trader Joe's or Chipotle's, though I know they carry alcohol in other states. I think our Shop Rite only just started carrying booze in the last ten years. NJ is a weird state.

Yeah, a lot of states apparently don't sell alcohol in grocery stores. Here the Safeway probably has the largest alcohol selection you'll find outside of a BevMo

Oh my. MD 20/20 was the alcohol of choice in my uni.... back in the 1990s (and legal to drink in the UK too). I remember being in a queue 10 deep at the liquor store (The only store open on campus at 11 pm on a Sunday night) and being the only person not buying MD.

I was a big fan of Wild I(white) with a green 'freeze pop' melted in it.
That was my jam.

EDIT Until they came out with orange MD. Then that was like a low-rent mimosa.

my daughter's mother asked if I'm able to have my kid next monday night to wednesday night, and if I can also take her 5 year old. I said sure, but since I don't have work monday, doesn't it make more sense if I just keep them friday night til wednesday night?

she said that wouldn't work, because then she won't get to see her kids for five days.

I wonder what that's like
not getting to see your kid for five days. sometimes twelve, if there's an event/party and I let her stay with mom.
