I say "Ar-Kansas" instead of "ar-can-saw" and it drives people nuts. Do you say Arkansaw or Arkansas?

Here, that would be a question of 110F+ highs for a week at a time in a year-round summer vs typical winter lows of 40-50F overnight. I prefer the fake winters in Los Angeles.
