my husband has been trying to throw out my vcr for a decade now. I won't budge. It's not a fancy combo one either... when I typed archaic... i meant from back when dvd was still a myth. This was "fancy" in that it had the auto rewind feature

Be kind, please rewind? I still have that on my Blockbuster Video card as a sticker. Never had an auto-rewind VCR, but did have a dedicated rewinder we kept next to it.

Oh the amount of times those things ate the tapes..
