Lol yeah. Everyone is so excited for summer to be ending and here I am crying about it.
I think I could handle this whole going into fall thing better if I knew it wouldn't be getting dark at 5 PM. Hate it.

5 mins ahead of schedule on my trial-run-school-day despite bedwetting incident (my 4 year old starts preschool again tomorrow, yaaaay!)

Mine started 2 weeks ago. And now every morning is a battle because even though she likes everything about school, she doesn't like naptime. And so she fights us saying she isn't going to go because she doesn't want to take a nap.

Mine started 2 weeks ago. And now every morning is a battle because even though she likes everything about school, she doesn't like naptime. And so she fights us saying she isn't going to go because she doesn't want to take a nap.

Awww! I can understand that though. Since I'm home all day anyway, I only send my son half day. They nap for like an hour and a half at his school which is... too long for a 4 year old + it costs more to send him full day. So as soon as he gets home I feed him lunch and he goes to 'quiet time' for 45mins-hr, and he's allowed to play in his room as long as he's quiet.

I'm the opposite... I get down if there are too many sunny days... it's like all the flaws and ugliness of everything are right out there in the stark unfriendly daylight... but gloomy days have romance and atmosphere

Morning all! Up too early because I thought our A/C had broke so I got up to check it out. Turns out it's just cool and rainy and was already 65 in our house.

Summer makes me uncomfortable sweat running down my ass crack is not fun. I also prefer to wear sleeves and hoodies...the heat and I just don't agree.
