Here in Michigan it has only recently become legal for schools to have bake sales for fundraising. There was absolutely no problem with shady charities coming in and taking 40% of fundraiser sales but all hell broke loose when families tried to sell cookies in the hallways on weekends to raise money for the schools.I don't participate in those. The best is when they say we don't want the kids going door to door cause it's not safe but we need this sold so I"m like...oh you want me to buy it huh? Yea not happening.
Schools get commissions from the picture sales, too. Soon they will probably offer monthly photos.
