So I guess I have to start all over and reload everything. The first--and most critical--think I need is the link to the Amazon payments thing where our payments go: we do a hit, it pays, then we go into our dashboard, transfer $$, and then it goes ... where? (btw, I haven't been able to get chrome going again; using FF right now) Pardon me if I sound like a dummy. I guess

I rebooted: nada. Then a did a system restore for about a week ago: nada. I didn't do re-booting more than once, so I'll give it a try. THANKKKK!!!!!

Also alot of programs have a repair function so before you uninstall chrome I would download the installer and run it and see if it lets your repair it

Or another thing you could try is opening up task explorer and seeing if there are instances of chrome.exe or chromeupdater(not sure of the excact name) and killing those processes
