Oh what fresh hell... Firefox has stopped working. It's giving me some nonsense about it's file being in use by another application. So I'm alternately reading troubleshooting suggestions and removing items from system folders. From experience I know I'll continue to do that for the next 30 minutes to 2 hours, and then it will magically start working and I won't know which things I did fixed it.

Always a good thing to start with, but didn't help this time. But after restart, tampering some more, moving profile, trashing and reinstalling firefox, moving profile back to firefox app support folder, I'm back in business!
