well, the requester with the strange AC that I had did get back with me to answer my question and tell me what happened.Quite clever, really. I won't say the requester because then i'd be giving away survey content, but they did approve the hit and gave me the mentioned bonus immediately. And actually pay is quite fair for the work.

No. At her 'hippy' school, when she was little, we were asked to (well, one of us - it was a volunteer thing-y). They paid the teachers 24,000 a year - so a birthday gift was.....well.....not nearly what they needed!

At the end of last year, we chipped in and gave her advisor $100. (I thought he'd like that more than a gift .
