Hello to the Crowd...That's good when you've got a low number of HITs. But, when you've got more numbers you can allow for significantly more risk. The goal is to not do any more than you could get rejected and still keep your approval rating above 99%. That's why doing safe "numbers" is very important when your total submitted HITs is low.
I'm new to MTurk (2 weeks) and the "Ramsey Cannabis HIT" nearly killed my account.
I carefully made the "test-HITs" before I invested more time. My first 2 HITs (more than one question) got approved/paid and after a certain waiting time, when the new big batch came in, I made 38 HITs, 33 rejected with feedback "failed question test" and just 5 HITs from the big batch approved.
Before with an approval rate of more than 99.5% I'm now down on 95.31% - more than angry - and I've already politely contacted the requester, but of course no answer until now.
I'm very sure that I gave the correct answers and cannot believe my eyes when I look at the dashboard. The HIT's also were not named as some kind of a test, so what about a feedback like "failed question test"? This has nothing to do with fairness.
