is it too spiteful to contact an IRB about pay discrepancies? my thought here is, "because if that information is wrong, what other information in the study info page is wrong?" but also this is over a quarter so

A lot of times, those are written for "on-location workers" or from the first time the study posts, and then modified. The only thing that they may have changed is the price, to get a bit more data at the lowest possible cost, usually after seeing that previous submissions average half the amount of time that they expected people to take. So, they adjust the price but, going in and changing the consent form for a few dimes, usually isn't worth the effort. I agree with you that it should be correct but, the best outcome I could imagine, in a case like that, would be for them to correct the consent form rather than increase pay or bonus out the difference. Probably not worth the effort, imo, unless there's a HUGE discrepancy, not percentage-wise but, actual dollar amount. Just my opinion.
