I make about 10-15 bucks a week from it. Totally worth doing. How many of you guys are on Prolific? And how well do you do on it? I gave up on it a while back, but I see a few people posting about having higher PE's there than Mturk, so I thought I might give it another try.
its more of supplement than a substitute in my opinion. personally, i get $1-$5 out of it on an average day, but some people seem to get more, but it isn't really controllable. How many of you guys are on Prolific? if you don't submit it, somebody else will.Even after that response I still feel a little guilty, cause I wanted to be like "are you sure? Cause I've still got 9 of these in my queue..."
One time I got a voicemail from about 1am of an old guy who was going to kill me. This went on and on and was very irate and detailed on how he was going to do this, almost to the point I thought of contacting the police. But at the end of the call I realized that these Assheads had used my number as the front for their scam because he started talking about me calling him multiple times a day threatening him with this IRS nonsense. He did not realize that they front with local numbers and not their own. For a second I thought I was going to have an axe-wielder at my front door! Damn he was mad.Yep. That's what I get, and they try a few times a day, from different numbers. I call them so many times that they actually block my call. Then I call them at another number that they called me from, and get the same guy, same company. The last guy was teaching me how to say "Fuck off" in Hindi. After getting him to call me a motherturker(he didn't say turker), I said, "now that you've said all that, do you want to go back to trying to convince me that you're still with the IRS?"
Nice! Thanks.I make about 10-15 bucks a week from it. Totally worth doing.
Ok, I tried it today, and think I made like $3 so that's about right. I'll keep looking at it now, though. I think. lolits more of supplement than a substitute in my opinion. personally, i get $1-$5 out of it on an average day, but some people seem to get more, but it isn't really controllable.
The hit makers are requesters? I thought us turkers were the requesters of the hit makers money. HAHA.Just an FYI, we tend to refer to "HIT MAKERS" as requesters. You can keep calling them whatever you like but, just wanted to make sure there's no confusion for you in the future, if someone doesn't completely understand what you are referring to.
Don't take offense though. Just letting you know, since I've seen that you tend to call them that, in ALL CAPS.
How can I see my # of returns for the day?

Yes. The makers are requesters, requesting that their work be done for the price offered, which would be why their name comes after Requester. Us turkers are HIT DOERS.The hit makers are requesters? I thought us turkers were the requesters of the hit makers money. HAHA.
