Halloween is every day around here. This is just the month that we don't get strange looks for our house being spooky.

I actually read the story about non native english speakers being the real problem, it was just that prolific was promoting that it was a bot problem to try to help themselves.

I keep this bookmarked to share with requesters who want to know why I submitted a survey with the same GPS location as another survey that was submitted (this happened to me, but I was able to get the rejection reversed before I saw this article by being honest and saying I had no clue why there would be two surveys with same GPS, but this article gives a clue and addresses the foreign worker issue).

like usual. he's kind of 5000 steps behind and doesnt pay attention... they came out with new data linking it to data farms being tracked to india and not bots... but whatever fits the complain narrative some have.

that makes sense....a few weeks ago I spent 30 mins or so checking out the bot thing..It all came from one guy...I entered like 6/7 different forums and it all started with one grad student...I read a bunch of entry's and although some were freaked out...only the one guy said his work was affected...maybe he was just not a good requester?

Everyone is welcome to come over for my Halloween party....you just gotta be ok with spiders. We live in the woods and its spider season...so our house is a wolf spider sanctuary at the moment.

Wolf spiders so big you can hear the pitter patter of their little feet running across the wooden floor.

you have to be careful inviting turkers to parties
some might come not wearing pants.
one of the job perks that can actually get you into trouble when you forget that you are in a public place shopping and you are not wearing pants.

I work on prolific...They are Oxford University...I kinda doubt that...who knows
