Nope. It just makes the Prolific studies page make a noise when a new study shows up.

Is there anyway to fix that for the chrome add-on? I'd prefer the addon to the script so I don't have to have another window open. I mean, it's still a usable script as those 5 disappear after a while.

Got a response from Margaret Kovera regarding my rejection for "wrong code."

Keep in mind this is over 20c and she's had over 2 million in funding.

She said "I am sorry, we would like to help but our funding is from a grant and highly regulated. We can only pay for data for data we can use and we can only use data we know we have paid for. You entered your Mturk ID and not the survey code, meaning we cannot use your data. Very sorry."

Well if I entered my ID it's because you gave me no code (which I don't believe was the case) my data is linked to me and still be usable correct?

ok so I seriously wanna hear everyone's opinion on Amazon paying everyone that works for them part time and full time 15.00 an hour or more.

Does this change anything for you? When I found out, I was thinking about Whole Foods... I mean, I already work at a grocery store on the weekends...

and then theres amazon customer service, which wasn't shit to me at 10.00 an hour... now it looks almost ok...

even if you make 600 a month on mturk, doing it at job will give you much more free time plus benefits...

what do you guys think?

does it make you want to get an official job with amazon?

I say nay, and agree with @Despairagus on this. It's still a regular job with all the inherent problems I'm successfully avoiding by working Mturk. If I were to get more "regular" work it would probably be with Trader Joe's, since they are very flexible about schedules etc. and the workers always seem happy.
