Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy is gmail debuting their April Fools joke early?!
property? hah! and you realize i really havent been around that much in the last week, right? This is unrelated to anything, but you know you can take my button out of your signature, right?
I mean if you wanna keep it there and let everyone know you're my forum property that's fine too. But the contest ended more than a week ago.
That's my approach to most problems in life. I just wake up and go, " Hey did it solve itself? No? Oh well, there's always next day".I had terrible credit for years and one day I woke up with excellent credit. I didn't even do anything.
One suggestion, get you a nice CC like the Ring that has ultra low interest I think mine has like less the 4%, but I have a 12 month emergency fund. more of an exception then the rule
and that's why i set up a low interest line of credit at a credit union when my financials are set just in case some shit happens and i need to use my CCs for fast cash. i can pay the CCs off with the line of credit and have manageable payments with low interest on the line of credit
I know that canceling old cards can mess with your score, but I don't think 6 months is old enough to do it.When you get a secured card and build you credit up after 6 months. Does cancelling effect your credit, because I really do not want to own a credit card and do not want to keep paying on the secured one.
i got some books from the library when i was learning coding that got lost in the shuffle when i moved, im sure that was the worst. it was like 220 dollars worth of 5 books of library books. and then of course direct tv and att and the usual suspects trying to bilk me after moving for extra cashYou got any other baddies? Late Payments, collections, repos, bankruptcy?
it will stay on your credit for 10 years, but it will lower you AAOA (Average AGE of Accounts) which will hurt you a little. Keep it open or ask them to product change it to a non-secured.When you get a secured card and build you credit up after 6 months. wasnt so much as hitting my deposited funds as just paying off the funds i spent the month before, it was along time ago i dont remember if it was close to the 200 secured because i wasnt used to cards back thenMaxing your limit every month on your card is also very bad for building credit.
So say you only had $400 worth of credit available and you hit that every month, your credit score will not go up despite you paying it off.
You should really always have a credit card. It's really important. Helps you get your own apartment. Many landlords wont take you in unless you have a line of credit. It lowers your insurance rates. Helps you get better employment because employers do run background checks and that includes a credit history report. CCs protect against fraud and theft whereas a debit card wont help you. When you get a secured card and build you credit up after 6 months. Like to expand on this a little more, pay everything you can with a CC, and I mean everything. Use reward CC make money spending money on everyday items, and like I said always pay the balance in full, never any late payments, and the credit score will soar. You should really always have a credit card.
