Just came home and noticed two dead cats in the road. Same colors as mine! I freaked, but mine are safe. I called animal control to come pick them up.

i have one cat (that lives with my parents) that cannot and will not stay inside. luckily he stays mostly in the yard now, but he will scream and scream and scream and beat the living shit out of the other dogs and cats if you make him stay inside. When I adopted him they said indoor cat. Nope. clearly no. That's why he ended up back at my parents, because he couldn't go outside at my old house with all the ferals, but he made our lives a living hell.

Granted that isn't all people's reason but I have met cats that will not live inside exclusively.

my first childhood cat was poisoned. I was five when I found him - he had bled out of his nose, ears and eyes. I was pretty traumatized. I am worried every day that Justin will get hit by a car, but I know there isn't much I can do about it.

Oh gosh! I had a couple of cats poisoned too. Cars and dogs are what got a lot of them. Now i'm sad. lol

Edit: There is also a guy going around neighborhoods NOW poisoning dogs. Scares me. I keep an eye on mine constantly when they're in the back yard.
