We don't talk about cognitive burden enough. I feel the same way about the Zellers. $0.22 is simply not enough pay for that much original thought. Those Bisks are all right...but as with the Zellers, there's too much writing and thinking for them to be very profitable. Being clever and making money efficiently kind of move in different directions (on mturk if not more generally).
All right, I'm going to find something else to do.
Thats why I love Ben Petersons. They are low paying but they are quick and dont take much though. I can do them at work and they can net me 4-5 dollars a day.We don't talk about cognitive burden enough. Oh hell yeah. And his emails, however well-intentioned, often boil down to the idea that we should be making connections at a still-higher conceptual level. Well, there sure seems to be a lot of money to be made in AI, but not for those creating/validating the data by which to train it.Oh hell yeah. His emails might be geared toward being encouraging, but they always depress me, making me sound like I'm not all that bright. I was grumbly about one email where he used one of mine as an example and knocked it, because it was pretty much like a lot of them on his samples. I rarely do any of his HITs anymore.Oh hell yeah.
