My lil ole lady cat has been so funny over the last few days. It's got a bit cooler here in South Carolina, and she's obviously feeling the cold (we had solid wood floors downstairs), She has been sofa sleeping. When I saw her do that, I got out the heated pad I got for her last year and put it on the footstool that's next to my desk. She melts onto it. But has decided the nicest place to sit is my desk chair. It has a fleece on and mostly is warm cos I've been stitting there and smells of me.
Every time I get up, she hops from the stool to my chair, curls up quickly and pretends to be asleep. I think in the hope that I won't move her. She's done it maybe 15 times today. I'm in stitches, and eating my lunch sat on my footstool. (I;ll move her when I get back to actual work).

It's national cat day? Whaaaaattt??? That is awesome.

In honor, here are my two cats. On the same chair. Not at the same time. Actually, the gray one rarely comes inside any longer, only if I don't feed her outside. I'm hoping that changes when it starts raining. I don't think they like each other, my best hope is that they will learn to tolerate each other like both cats "tolerate" the dog.

And I just realized seeing those two cat pics that I captured that chair perfectly. Because it FREAKING CHANGES COLORS all the time. It's never the same color blue, and the seat, at times, looks like it's part green (It's been cleaned, that isn't slimy dirt, it's some nanotechnology I swear).

Love the chair, am constantly startled by the color changes. I would not be surprised if I walked into the living room one day and it was solid purple.
