No matter what I tried to feed him, he only wanted cat food. And just so you know, a deer is capable of eating a shit ton of cat food. I named him George.

He just showed up one day.. let me pet him no problem. I thought I was drunk or something.

And in an hour I have to leave for a lunch meeting with my son's former elementary school principal. We are on the same Library Board together, so this has NOTHING to do with my son (who is now in high school!) but for some reason I'm nervous.

The nerves aren't waking me up, though. Wish they would.

Every time I get up, she hops from the stool to my chair, curls up quickly and pretends to be asleep. I think in the hope that I won't move her. She's done it maybe 15 times today. I'm in stitches, and eating my lunch sat on my footstool. (I;ll move her when I get back to actual work).

mine love sitting on my work chair. it's actually where my grey sleeps at night and where he eats his meals (long story)
