So, there's an ad on my local CL looking for acorn 'hats'(tops). They are willing to pay a penny a piece. I thought to myself, I have land and a bunch of acorns/oak trees. Maybe I can make a few bucks. But, then I thought, why would they pay a penny a piece? So, a quick search of "Acorn tops for sale" shows that they sell pretty well on ebay and etsy, for a minimum of about $.05 per, in bulk, with lots of 50 averaging around $6 for larger "higher quality" tops.
Anyway, that may be my plan for today.
It may be worth it. It doesn't look like there are a ton of people selling them.

I got blocked from them the first day they posted. I was still newish to turking and I accidentally didn't read the HIT description. Then 2 weeks later I did one and was rejected. Come to find out that I did one for women the first time so, to him, I'm a lady. So, when I did the one for my demographic, I was rejected.
I never tried to fix it. Just never did them again.

@Jerami People buy 'wood cookies' too - if you have a saw and sanding stuff.
