WOW! I only had to wait like 15 mins. But that was a shocker since I literally NEVER wait.

Maybe I did in 2008. But that was a one of a kind election.

So I had to drive downtown to get to the bank before 5 pm. Drove past several polling places and wowzers. Lines out the doors, and I saw some people on sidewalks filling out the pink provisional ballots.

I think they might change how they do things here so people who show up and need provisional ballots can go to another table instead of holding up the line. We have just, literally, never had that problem as long as I can remember! But if this level of turnout keeps up we need to make a smoother running polling place.

I just think that if voting is as important as everyone says it is, they should get better machines. If you went to the hospital and they used machines that old, you'd be worried about your health.
