Lawrence Welk is on in 20 minutes and I need to go get dinner ready for my elderly father

For those who don't know (and I know you do, @greg) there was time in America--in the 50s and 60s--when, if there was a woman in the house, particularly a married woman, the TV was set to watch ......... Lawrence Welk. I remember our TV being tuned to LW. Wow. What a memory!

I vaguely remember this show as all the adults in my life really loved it at one point. Once he started producing it himself, I don't recall seeing it as much.

There was a time, when I was a small child, when I would NOT be able to sleep without hearing Baby Elephant Walk at LEAST once, before bed.
Lawrence Welk was alive and well in the 90s, for a young bab such as me, heh.

Seriously not as bad as people have it up in Paradise, CA, though. I'm 70 or so miles South and it's terrible even here, but they don't even have a city anymore.

I earned almost $5 in bonus on this today. I think it takes about a week before they pay the bonuses.
