thanks 4 this.

normally I take every moment to make fun of Jaded @Jaded , but because this is her vs non turkers, I'm 100 percent in her corner. I assume hitting the star thingy is voting?

if so EVERYONE VOTE FOR JADED NOW OR ILL KILL YOU with kind suggestions of voting for jaded later.

I hate snow. I think it's bad here, but I bet it's quite a bit more in VT. Do you like the winter weather there?
I like snow. But I wish it would melt occasionally. Once it's on the ground, it hangs around until April. I wish it would melt every now and again.

But overall, I like the seasons and I missed snow a whole lot when I lived down South.

What contest, Jaded?

Also, I might have to look into that Dell. Seems like decent money investment for a beermoney machine. The pc im building is mainly for gaming anyways.
The one I got is an Ultra Small Form Factor which means it's slightly bigger than a personal pan pizza box. You can't put a video card in it, but you can also get bigger ones for the same price that don't have that limitation.

I also have a similar one like that I might switch to in aid of using more than two monitors. There are other ways to do it, but meh.

Get two of whatever you get then if one dies you can restore your backup to the other one and just keep going.

You might also consider buying memory. It came with 4Gb but I think 8 will be pretty optimal for mTurk + scripts + multiple browsers open. Browsers are such memory hogs.

But yeah I am not using my main machine for this, despite it having dual 27" monitors, because I don't want to disrupt everything there with more scripts, and it's nice to sit in a different space to work.

People say that they like the changing seasons and miss it. I *might* like autumn if it didn't segue into winter. And I do have to admit an affinity and childlike wonder every time spring hits.
My biggest fear in life is Fimbulvinter.

Do you ski? Is that a thing there?

I have an *idea* for the cover of my first book, but I'm doing my second round of editing now after some *really* good feedback.

BUT I have to actually earn some pennies now! Been a bad few days.

I added an item, so now it is:

Don't rush;
Look under stuff;
Look where you do not expect the lost item to be;
*See and notice,* instead of just looking
And remember the first place you checked and next time you set the item down, leave it there. You'll probably check there next time.

Disclaimer: This specifically helps me and sounds pretty logical so I'm sharing it. May not work for all involved.

"Don't stand at the fridge hollering to your S/O you can't find the x. Simply cos it's not in a big box with X on the front and expect not to be laughed at"

*sigh* idk if that will help me but I'll try it next time! I often will just retrace my steps very calmly and still not find things sooo who knows.
