S. VT. But I don't live on a hill. I had brand new all season tires last year - and it was mostly okay (except when there was brand new snow - just falling, heavy). But once it falls, no - it doesn't really melt till spring.

I only used when I was living in the Alps for a year and they were great for areas that had snow but not lots of fresh snow, for those areas people used snow chains (or they all swapped to tractors ) and I hated them.

The other day I dumped half a can of chili on a bowl of bugles, put shredded cheddar on it, and dug into it feeling like a gremlin and then realized that it was the most delicious garbage meal on earth.

P.S. the smoke is still clobbering me, not getting much done the last few days. Feels like someone is squeezing my head right now.

The smoke is pretty bad. My son runs every day and before I let him leave the house I check air quality. He's a healthy 14 year old, but if it's in the Unhealthy range he gets a little wheezy.

But like you said in another post, this is nothing compared to those who lost homes or lives. It is just something to deal with and hope clears up soon, for all of us!

I hate snow. I think it's bad here, but I bet it's quite a bit more in VT. Do you like the winter weather there?
