I wish I could afford one of those industrial air ionizers.

Edit: Unlikely anyone else will need this info right now, but this is where spray deodorizers actually work. Actually even water spray can work by pulling dust/smoke out of the air, but the finer the spray the better and, of course, things get wet in the process (and you deposit the smoke and dust on surfaces).

It's 70 miles but the wind is blowing it right at us. It's been getting worse for the last few hours, it's starting to obscure distant buildings.

It's been overcast for days - no clouds.

Again, obviously, it's not as bad here as where the fire is.

That's still crazy. I can't even handle the smoke when my husband burns leaves. I couldn't imagine.

Here's a pic from a couple of days ago near here, took it out my car window (no clouds, all smoke, 3 in afternoon):

Again, that's 70 miles from the fire. This is a BIIIIIG fire.

I used to think they were $300+ but I just looked and it looks like there are some for $70-100. You can over-do it for your space (too much ozone is bad, too) and it's a question of keeping one around in case your state catches fire. I mean, if I ordered one online (and I don't even have that money today), it would probably get here after the fire ended.

On the other hand, you can use them for restoring old yellowed plastic, so there's that.

Edit: Most people will want the department store versions that are cheaper, but slower. The big ones are dangerous, not kidding. Use while not home only, let the air clear before entering, no pets.

I'm only seeing one product on the victoria's. Is this new or are they screwed up. Haven't done them in a while.
