the kitchen/living room area in my apartment goes through periods of just having an endless stream of fruit flies (coming in from somewhere? i have no idea what's going on but their presence or absence is completely unrelated to the weather, how clean the kitchen is, how regularly we take out the garbage/recycling, ...) anyway, if i allowed myself to be squeamish about having to extract tiny insects from my drink all the time, well i'd be hecking thirsty
i haven't seen any for the last couple of weeks but i'll probably regret making this post when they magically reappear today

I TOTALLY OWN A HAND GRINDER FOR CAMPING TRIPS! I don't like the taste of Kcups or the waste. The easiest/laziest way we make coffee is filling a jar overnight and letting it sit for cold-brew, but normally we use french press. We're living on drip coffee here in the wilds of Ohio lol

I do grind my beans every time I make coffee, though. It's one of the little things in life.

sometimes I feel bad because of the environment but I'm a pretty environmentally friendly person so I like to think I'm still making a good impact. and...I totally don't care that much about coffee to do all that fancy stuff lol. I'll be more than glad to drink it if someone else does though

I have a gnat infestation right now, the little drain fly things. It's disgusting and I hate it but thankfully(?) they're only in my kitchen so I can hurry up and make a cup of coffee and take it to the living room before any of them get in it.

Now that I've actually seen this builder and realized it's built off of faces...what I saw in your emoji was a doughnut with eyes all over it. Not a face, lol.

I feel guilty enough eating doughnuts. Don't want to think about them actually watching me do it, or staring at my insides on their way through me...

There. Now I hope I've made it creepier, lol.

the gnats or whatever they are could be coming from your kitchen sink. pour vinegar and baking soda (or is it powder? idk) to clean all the gunk out

They can come out of your drains, kind of like rats can come out of your drains. Like your pipes connect to other appartments/houses/buildings/businesses and the little buggers get all up in and fly out looking for new goodies.
