Both. Talking to other parents, I realize how good we all have it. We lived in CA when I had my first and came back "home" when I was pregnant with the second. I wanted them to have close relationships with their grandparents. Unfortunately, we're down to just 1 now.

I feel your pain! My kids are too much for anyone in my family as well. I have gotten help for a few hours here and there, like maybe twice a month... but never an over night. It's like my mom thinks she'll break them... or that they'll burn down her house "because it's not kid proof" Lol. They're not bad kids, just both very active toddlers that at least know how to say please and thank you

I broke my brother's finger in church one time. It wasn't completely my fault. I was 14 and, in no way, should have been responsible for my ADD addled brother, trapped in an hour long catholic mass. It had disaster written on it from inception.
