Well, apparently I don't /quite/ have it. I have to do a background check. Which I won't fail, it also said a credit check. Which I will fail.

But I'm pretty sure a hospital house keeper doesn't need good credit.

This is actually true I’ve heard. There is a threshold for unpaid collections to get some jobs. Someone told me it was like less than 5,000 and you had to have made payment arrangements on all of them and some history of starting to pay them back. For reference, this was for a job at the local shipyard where they make submarines and naval carriers and had like a civilian clearance involved. Basically, one more way poor people get the shaft. Because being poor and wanting a good job totally means you can’t be trusted.
