So, I got to the information desk and the shift manager was like, what? "You need to go to hR this lady isnt even here today." So I walk to hr and they are like "why are you here? You need to be in housekeeping" so then I get escorted there.

To the lady I needed in the first place. Who was, in fact, here today. Standing behind the shift manager. Making coffee.

Edit: which she did not share.
There's a lot that can be said about that: tis truly weird! But ....... YA GOT THE JOB :celebrate2::celebrate2::celebrate2:

There are different approaches you can take to that job/organization. you might want to step lightly for a bit, scope out those people. I don't know in that situation if standing out would be good or bad. I think I'd post a question on Quora.

There is a test you can take to get the qual. Pay isn't great, but as it's slow, it could be filler.
