Any good mind that can be spared would be appreciated. One of my neighbours (he's my 5y/o's bestie's grandfather) was run over by a forklift at work on Friday and is currently going in to have his leg amputated. They tried, but are unable to save it.

That's awful. Sending positive thoughts his way. Hope (LATER, of course) he at the very least gets a big enough payoff from the company to live the rest of his years in relative comfort.

I have great memories of the Mall of Memphis. Ice Skating! We moved a lot so I was a little of everywhere. Hickory Hill, Frayser, North Haven, Finally landed in Southaven and now I am totally out of the Mid-south in rural Mississippi about 3 hours from Memphis and I love it. Small town life but not too far from cities. I moved out over 16 years ago. Best decision ever. I never knew my neighbors when I lived there and now I live in a community where everyone comes together and helps each other and generally are nice to each other. It's not perfect but we enjoy the slower paced life.

I'm actually from arkansas (wynne), but went to memphis for everything. Ice skating was my favorite thing about mall of memphis...I miss it so much. That and Adventure River :o
