The code field is usually just like any other field even though it's pretty small on the page. You can type something out in notepad where you can see it and paste it in there. Like for example, if you include your demographic information, there's a good chance you'll be the only one with those demographics that didn't get/sub a code. Email doesn't hurt, but a lot of times those things are already approved/rejected before your email even gets read, if it ever does get read.

Re: No Code Given, my stupid newbie method:

1) Look at final URL for study. Does it look like part of it is a code? Use that as a code, send a message with the URL saying what you used as a code.

2) The URL doesn't look like a code: Send a message with the URL, use your ID as a code.

3) NO URL (study closes) - Send message and use your ID as a code.

So far it's almost always #1. Fingers crossed no rejections and I *think* I've been paid for everything, except maybe a couple of the test hits for a bug I was dealing with.
