I wish I knew how to make this kind of money from 5s. They're so damn slow. What are you doing to make them not shit?

Little over 5k this year. My worst year turking since I started almost 5 years ago but I did get a huge pay increase at my job so I figure that equals it out and some.

They're easy and really quick. I can do each one in less than a minute once I get going. The money is still crap but it's less painful than a lot of the other low paying stuff.

And yes. I wouldn't be doing them if it wasn't for the numbers. 1.80 an hour isn't my idea of a living wage.

You must be a decent bit quicker about it than I am, I admit typing has never been my strong suit.

I think we talked about typing in relation to another HIT at some point. I'm not the fastest but I do 45-85 correct words a minute depending on the content and how stiff my fingers are. I've had arthritis in my hands since I was in my early 20's so the stiffness can be an issue depending on what I've been doing. I work with my hands a lot so it varies pretty wildly.

It wouldn't have gone nearly as fast if I had done what I'd intended and chopped firewood all day. It was too wet and my axe kept sticking. I couldn't get into a rhythm so I stopped.
My hands turn into hooks when I've been gripping something like an axe handle all day.

Just a heads up. After the update at least for me anyway, upon finding a favorite watchers in general seem to become disabled whether they are ticked on or off. Unchecking create watcher for the favorite and restarting the app did not seem to have an effect on whether it occurred or not, so it seems to be caused by it locating a favorite for some reason. I was able to get around it for now by removing my favorites and restarting the application again, then verified by catching a few hits. I can also say that in one of my prior restarts, before I removed the favorites outright, that prior to the favorites pop the watchers worked correctly. Wasn't sure if it was a just me issue or not, or whether you have somewhere specific that you prefer reports of bugs.

That's the kind of knowledge that, now that I have it, if I ever saw Vicky in person, and remembered that I could be making that much too if she would stop her playin around, I might actually fight her.

The first step is to not get burnt out on them. It was much easier to do back when we could max out each day when they posted, but now that the young rascals have came along, you only get 3 hours. Step 2 is to never sleep, so you can catch those sweet 3 am batches. They last a whole 30 minutes longer! (New people ) Apparently a lot of people have this thing called a "life" and also another thing called "responsibility", so they have to rest at some point which means they can't be doing 5s at any time of day like I do.
