I would disagree with you. Ground beef, chicken and bacon are all viable options.you can't add meat to mac and cheese that's gross.

(I'm by no means a vegetarian... but I have trouble with eating meat sometimes, medically, and absolutely yes, you can use cheese to get in some of your needed protein, especially for one meal. @Jaded )

Well sure there are other means, I would imagine not everyone needs as much protein as I try to intake which is more in the range of 150-200g per day. Some sort of meat in macaroni is more of my personal preference.You can get protein for other sources too.

Back when I ate human food, there was a Hamburger Helper that was basically like a fake alfredo with tuna. I was shocked at how good that was.Mac and cheese with tuna. That's good stuff.
